Women in Bloom reflection
As we reflect on our recent Women in Bloom event, I am filled with gratitude for the community we've built and the powerful moments we shared. It was an evening dedicated not only to learning and personal growth but to celebrating the incredible journey of women at every stage of life.
We began our evening by exploring the undeniable connection between the beauty of flowers and our mental well-being. The science is clear: flowers aren't just a delight to the senses—they are a profound source of joy and stress relief. This natural power to heal and uplift is something we embraced fully in our discussions and activities. Thank you Jelena from Viola Floral for facilitating such a mindful experience.
A significant part of our conversation focused on the concept of nurturing our internal garden—our gut health. Like a well-tended garden, a well-cared-for gut can enhance our overall health, affecting everything from our mood to our immune system. We delved into practical ways to cultivate this crucial aspect of our health, reminding us that true care starts from within. Thank you to Barbara Kris for your tips and insights.
An informative session on perspective and changing the lens of our vision gave us actionable insights on how to B.L.O.O.M.:
Being Kind: Cultivating kindness towards ourselves and others.
Leveraging Your Village: Drawing strength from community.
Observing from the Edge: Learning to step back and gain perspective.
Overcoming Self-Sabotage: Breaking free from the chains of our limitations.
Manifesting: Actively creating the life we aspire to live.
These principles guide our journey to not just survive but thrive in our daily lives and personal challenges. Thank you Sepideh Yeoh for your insightful talk.
We were fortunate to have a session with Dr. Reena Gupta, a renowned laryngologist, who educated us about vocal health, particularly addressing "vocal fry." Understanding how to use our voices without strain is vital, and Dr. Gupta offered practical advice on improving our vocal habits to speak more clearly and more importantly find our true voice
Hearing from women who have found their "bloom" was nothing short of inspiring. Each story was a testament to resilience, creativity, and the power of self-belief. These narratives are crucial—they connect us and remind us of the potential within each of us to overcome and flourish. Thank you, Ana Soriano, Li Li Tan and Emily Wagner for sharing your journeys
We closed our evening with a vibrational reset, a session designed to realign our energies and intentions. It was a powerful reminder of the strength we have together and the peace that comes from moments of collective reflection. My heartfelt gratitude to Kimmy Braget for this moving sound bath experience.
Each attendee left with a Curated Dose of PAUSE box, a small toolkit to continue the practices and reflections started at our event. But the journey doesn’t end here. I warmly invite you to join us for the next event.
Let's continue to grow, learn, and support each other in this beautiful space we've created.
Stay connected, stay inspired, and remember to take time to nurture your bloom.
More details will follow, and I hope to see many of you again as we continue to explore and celebrate our collective power and potential.
With heartfelt thanks and anticipation for what’s next,.
